Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a technology which stores, manipulates and graphically displays geographic data in map form. This allows people to visualize data in maps for various uses.

Members of Hopeworks' GEB (GIS/WEB) Team members are trained in many applications of GIS from data collection to interactive mapping. The team has completed many commercial projects for clients including tree surveys, parcel information systems, printed maps and the 2008 Camden Street Map.
